To the Hart Family, Rhonda and Mike, Renee, Bob and Spouses, Grand Children and Great Grand Kids, our condolences go out to you.
I just want to share a few thoughts with you - mainly characteristics I have observed over the past 8 years I knew your Father.
I hope you can get a smile:
Independent
Bob would accept help only when he really needed it - He didn't want to "bother" anyone.
Patriotic
Bob was proud to serve our country and loved doing the parades with his Jeep (even if he got agitated with the Fire Trucks).
Set in his ways/Knew what he wanted
Bob knew what kind of cookies he wanted. There were certain things we couldn't talk about - religion was one and your mother, Crystal, he just had trouble moving on from losing her.
Helping Hand - Big Heart
Bob was happy to help me and give advice with the steel parts of our addition to the house and other welding and repair work that I had. I know he helped many others - even strangers - as recent as this past summer.
Stubborn
He had many invites to our house for dinner - or going out to dinner (always declined) except the VFW dinner for Samsons.
I know your Dad didn't want any big accolades or fancy services upon his passing, but I felt I needed to share this with you. He is and will be missed; especially the "stop ins" on his way to get "dog food".
With Love,
Jason & Lynn Miller
