Obituary of Margaret E. Rambus

Margaret Ellen Rambus, age 74 of Sweet Valley, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Dunmore, PA.

She was born in Wilkes-Barre on October 16, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Daniel T. and Erma Farrell McNeill.

Margaret was a graduate of Meyers High School and College Misericordia. She was formerly employed at Red Rock Job Corps and Clearbrook Lodge.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Daniel T. and Randy J. McNeill.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 50 years, George Rambus; children, Shannon McLaughlin of Sweet Valley, Lance Rambus of Sweet Valley, Mark Rambus of Arizona and Eric Rambus of Lake Silkworth; grandchildren, Jacob Rambus, Ellen McNeill, Erin and Margaret McLaughlin and Dalton Rambus; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Paige Rambus; sisters, Sharon Engler of Sweet Valley and Wendy O’Donnell of Larksville.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 17, 2023 from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
