My most sincere condolences to the Dragon family for such a tremendous loss. I have many fond memories of Leo. We spent many great times on field trips and sports runs on the "beastie bus" for Westside Tech. Whenever you went on a trip with Leo you were guaranteed to have a great time and be very entertained by his great sense of humor! Until we all meet again, rest in peace my friend.......

My deepest sympathies to the Dragon family, on the loss of my dear friend Leo♡ Memories flood my thoughts of the last forty years of love and friendship. You were such a good man with a great sense of humor, hard work n values. I remember when my son Ted broke his leg during a West Side Tech basketball game and you showed up totally unexpected to lend a hand. I remember making lasagna at your house and without me knowing, you threw on your overalls and gave me a new tire, because you thought mine was worn and worried about my ride home. When we took a bus to Atlantic City and an elderly woman tripped in the isle, you were the first to jump from your seat to prevent her fall. This is the kind of man you were and your family should be proud♡ A true friend is someone who remains during our darkest moments, when others have left! Your Father was that kind of man and I will always be grateful to have had him in my life. When he was nearby, he would stop at the daycare, and show me all the latest pictures of his grandchildren, whom he loved deeply♡ He was so proud of that train he made for them, too! He was the last one to show at my Mother's viewing having just got off the ladder at home, building the dream garage he always wanted. I was proud to sponsor the Jennifer Dragon Compassion Award for 20 years in memory of his precious daughter at West Side Tech, and I take comfort in imagining their reunion once more♡ My last words I spoke to him were thank you, I Love You and I want you to be happy♡ I believe he died having achieved that happiness! May God rest your soul and comfort your dear family and friends during this most difficult time. My thoughts and prayers remain with you and may our memories sustain us of such a good, kind man we were lucky enough to have had in our lives♡ I will miss you Leo♡ Love Laurie Montigney

I was recently thinking about Mr. dragon, my daughter Brianna will be starting tech in a couple of weeks. I was so excited about telling him the good news. Mr. D was a crucial part of my childhood at west side tech he had a keen sense of picking out kids with talent and letting there creative talents flourish. He used to aggravate me terribly with his double hammer flip and one swing 16 p nail trick( which I have since mastered). Because of Mr.D I have become a successful contractor and made a very good living because of his inspiration as a teacher and a hard working man. I cannot express how deeply saddened we are to learn about Mr. Dragon’s passing. This man was so very influential in my life and was ALWAYS there for me when I needed any kind of advice or help. He always had an answer or a direction to point you in to find an answer. Leo was one of the best people I ever knew and the world just lost a great person.
