Obituary of Robert Michael Sims

Robert "Bobby" Sims, age 45 of Harveys Lake, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He was born in Wilkes-Barre on December 15, 1975 and was the son of Marge Sims of Harveys Lake and the late Stanley Sims. Bobby resided at Harveys Lake for most of his life and was an avid fisherman. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Harveys Lake. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Isabel Youngblood In addition to his mother, he is survived by children, Makayla and Robert Sims, Jr.; sisters, Donna Roman of Harrisburg and Kimberly Wynne and husband Joseph of Harveys Lake; brothers, Stanley Sims, Jr. and wife Rebecca of Shavertown and John Sims of Harveys Lake; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
