Obituary of George H. Allabaugh

George H. Allabaugh, age 73, of Sweet Valley, passed away February 9, 2021 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He was born in Wilkes-Barre on October 13, 1947 and was the son of the late George and Frances Allabaugh. George graduated from Meyers High School and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He retired as a service manager for Tunkhannock Auto Mart. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. George was an avid outdoorsman, including hunting, fishing, and traveling in his RV with his wife, Jacqueline. George is survived by his wife of 52 years, the former Jacqueline Brothers; sons, Steven Allabaugh and wife Angelia of Wyalusing and Kevin Allaubaugh of Sweet Valley; brothers, Richard Allabaugh; grandchildren, Derek, Megan, Kiera, and Amanda Allabaugh. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
