Obituary of Kenneth Stanley Livezey
Kenneth S. Livezey, age 70 of Loyalville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at home.
He was born in Doylestown on February 27, 1948 and was the son of the late Stanley and Pearl Garnett Livezey.
Kenneth graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1966 and faithfully served in the US Navy for 4 years. He resided in Loyalville all of his life. Kenneth was an owner/operator for Penn's Best Trucking, Meshoppen, for 10 years and later was employed as a dump truck driver for various local contractors. He enjoyed hunting and helping out his friends and neighbors by plowing snow and cutting grass for them. Kenneth was always willing to lend a helping hand and will be missed by his community.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years who was the love of his life, the former Bridgette Hislop; daughter, Natalie Bowersox; son, Kenneth C. Livezey; sister, Marilyn Williams and her husband Don of Bloomsburg; 4 grandchildren; 4 nieces, 3 nephews and loving family members.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 8:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. W. James Pall of the Maple Grove United Methodist Church, officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Maple Grove United Methodist Church, 5876 Main Rd, Hunlock Creek, PA 18621.
