Obituary of Robert Joseph Baldoni

Robert Joseph Baldoni, Sr., age 66 of Harveys Lake, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Plains Township. Mr. Baldoni was born in Warminster on May 11, 1946, and was the son of the late Salvatore and Theresa Novak Baldoni. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era where he was wounded in action. Mr. Baldoni was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Parachute Badge, Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal, Expert Badge (Rifle), and the Bronze Star Medal/ "V" Device. Robert was a loving father, avid hunter, and fisherman. He graduated high school from William Tennent. Mr. Baldoni was preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Baldoni. He is survived by a son: Robert Joseph Baldoni, Jr. of Harvey's Lake; brother: Larry Baldoni of Warminster; sister: Linda Baldoni of Warminster; grandson: Aidyn Baldoni; granddaughter: Emma "Stroud" Baldoni. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 23, 2012 at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, with Rev. Joel Mitchell of the Noxen Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM prior to the service. Interment will be in the Mountain View Burial Park, Harding.
