Dear John may you Rest In Peace. I’ll never forget our times together back in the 90’s on the road every weekend. It was both a pleasure and honor to know you. Condolences to your entire family. Goodbye my friend.

I attended Dallas Senior High School and was a member of the marching band. I did not know your father personally. We never competed in the same class as LL, but feared and respected your father. He demanded excellence even from cross town rivals. Music, performance and pride was taught by your father to other bands who saw or competed against LL. He was a stern man who influenced a generation even if he did not know he was doing so.
I am very sorry for your loss.

TO the Miliauskas family, I extend my deepest sympathy to you for the loss of Mr Miliauskas Jr. You lost a great father, grandfather, wonderful teacher and a terrific BAND CONDUCTOR. It was an honor to have been taught by him to play trombone in t he award winning LAKE LEHMAN BAND.He taught me to be understanding, to be patient and respectful of others. He also taught me to Love music. It was as honor to be in the band in the mid 60's and to wear the black and gold. He has a place in Heaven with other great conductors and trumpet players. I will miss him. May he rest in peace. Garry Van Scoy
