Obituary of Constance Joan Traver

Connie J. Traver, age 85 of Noxen, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Gardens at Lakeside, Harveys Lake. Mrs. Traver was born in Nanticoke on June 30, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Jean Morgan Will. Connie resided at Pikes Creek with her first husband, Harold E. Shaw and later resided in Noxen with her second husband, Corey Traver. She was employed as a waitress in Dallas for many years. Connie volunteered as a grandmother at Headstart for 15 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Harold Shaw and Corey Traver, son, Harold "Butch" Shaw, daughter, Danette Schietrumpf, brother, Sonny Will and sisters, Jean Will and Mona Petriconis. Connie is survived by daughter Connie Traver and her husband David of Pikes Creek; brother, Fred Will of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Mike and Eddie Traver. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
