Obituary of Robert William Miles

Robert William Miles, age 70 of Sweet Valley, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. Mr. Miles was born in Nanticoke on February 8, 1947 and was the son of the late Robert N. and Phyllis Navroth Miles. Robert was a 1963 graduate from West Valley High School, Van Nuys, CA and served in US Army, 101st Airborne Division, during the Vietnam Era. He was employed by the former Marquardt Corp. in California. Robert enjoyed golfing and biking. He is survived by friends, George Robinson and his wife Michelle of Shickshinny and Darlene Cragle of Sweet Valley. Funeral services will be private. There will be no calling hours. Private interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lake Twp. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
