I am very sorry for your loss. The hope found in God's word the Bible can calm your grieving heart. The Bible describes death as an enemy, but Jehovah God promises to destroy that enemy along with the pain and suffering it causes. (Rev. 21:3,4) God also promises to bring those who have died back to life. "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28,29) May the knowledge that soon these things will take place, give your heart comfort.
