Obituary of Jesse Roswell Bixby

Jesse Roswell Bixby, age 34 of Dallas, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 8, 2016 at home.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre on June 4, 1982 and was the son of Roswell E. Bixby of Sorber Mountain and Deborah Hobbs of Plymouth.
Jesse served in the US Army from 2001-2004 during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was currently employed as a landscaper and attended Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, Harveys Lake.
He is preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Kathleen Bixby and maternal grandparents, Leon Fuller and Dorothy Guard.
In addition to his parents, Jesse is survived by sister, Tanya Walters of Wilkes-Barre; grandfather, Roswell Bixby, Sr.; nieces, Chloe and Mack; step-father, Edward Hobbs of Plymouth; step-mother, Maria Bixby of Sorber Mountain.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 7:00 pm from the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, 239 Church Rd, Harveys Lake, PA 18618 with Rev. L.D. Reed, officiating.
Friends may call 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
