Obituary of Terry Allan Borger

Terry A. Borger, age 52 of Harveys Lake, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
He was born in Philipsburg on May 4, 1964 and was the son of Elaine Belle States Borger of Brookville and the late Harold "Bud" Clyde Borger.
Terry graduated from Bald Eagle Area High School and served in the US Army from 1982-1986. He was employed by Tele-Media in Dallas, the Times Leader, and was currently employed by the Citizens Voice as a District Manager. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. Terry enjoyed woodworking, the outdoors, and spending time with his children and grandson. Terry also cherished his time with Paul and Brian Rigez
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 24 years, Jennifer Troup Borger; sons, Trevor, Trey, Iggy, Javon, and Austin Borger, all at home; daughters, Shari Borger of Lorton, VA, Kristin Borger of Bowie, MD, and Cassidy Borger, at home; his wing man, Cody Walsh; sister, Penny Rakovan of Brookville; mother-in-law, Jeanette Troup of State College; his precious grandson, David, Jr.; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 at 3:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Linda McDermott, officiating, with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Outlet Free Methodist Church community hall, 531 Lehman Outlet Road, Dallas, PA 18612.
