Obituary of Anna Stockage

Anna Stockage, age 98 of Sweet Valley, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the Mercy Center, Dallas. Mrs. Stockage was born in Pringle on December 10, 1917 and was the daughter of the late John and Anna Kuchurak Hudock. Anna was a member of the St. Mary's Byzantine Church and its Rosary Society. She loved her family dearly especially her children and grandchildren. Anna had a kind word for everyone she met and loved flowers and cooking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Charles Stockage, sister, Marie Jensen and daughters-in-law, Barbara and Sharon Stockage. Anna is survived by sons, Charles, George and his wife Susan and Robert, all of Sweet Valley; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 26, 2016 at 8:45 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with a Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am from the St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, 321 Chestnut Ave, Kingston, PA 18704 with Rev. Mykhaylo Prodanets, officiating. Friends may call 2-4 PM on Sunday at the funeral home, with a Parastas service that will be held at 3:30 PM. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, 321 Chestnut Ave., Kingston, PA 18704.
