Obituary of Sherry Lynn Donahue

Sherry Lynn Donahue, age 65 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Celtic Hospice Healthcare Inpatient Unit , South Geisinger, Wilkes-Barre. Miss Donahue was born in Berwick, August 28, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Amelia Readler Donahue. Sherry graduated from Nescopeck High School in 1967. She enjoyed and possessed a great talent for writing poetry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Whitaker. Surviving are a sister: Mary Jean Miller and her husband, William, of Sweet Valley; brothers: Michael Donahue of York, Alan and Philip Donahue of South Bristol. Maine. At her request, funeral services will be private. A private interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., Pikes Creek.
