Obituary of Clayton Leroy Traver

Clayton L. Traver, age 82 of Harveys Lake, passed away peacefully Friday, March 20, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Traver was born November 13, 1932 in, Ruggles and was the son of the late Thomas J. and Hildreth Kocher Traver.
He graduated from the former Laketon High School in 1951 and served as a gunner in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Clayton was employed by the former Natona Mills, Dallas, and retired from Coates Reprographics, Inc., Dallas.
Mr. Traver was a lifetime member of the Harveys Lake Rod and Gun Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Long.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Irene Snyder; children: Pamela Long, Robert Traver, Thomas Traver, and Richard Traver all of Harveys Lake, Patsy Nulton of Wilkes-Barre, Lisa Stevenson of Luzerne and Brian Traver of Noxen; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren
Mr. Traver's funeral will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., 2386 State Route 118, Hunlock Creek, with Rev. L.D. Reed of the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church officiating.
Friends may call 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Monday, at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
