Obituary of Ruth Frances Williams

Ruth F. Williams, age 92 of Harveys Lake, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Williams was born in Plymouth on September 29, 1922 and was the daughter of the late James Leroy and Anna Bryson Rogers.
Ruth graduated from the former Laketon High School in 1941. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Episcopal Church in Dallas, Daniel C. Roberts Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Harveys Lake Women's Service Club, and was a Lake-Lehman Band Sponsor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Williams, brothers, Forest and Glenn Rogers, and sister, Doris Spencer.
Ruth is survived by son, Richard Williams, II and his wife Charlotte of Harveys Lake; daughter, Marsha Hogan and her husband Clarence, with whom Ruth resided; grandchildren, Terri, Karen, Heather, Richie, Darrell, George and Dennis; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16 at 10:00 am from the Prince of Peace Episcopal Church, 420 Main St., Dallas, with Rev. Joseph Rafferty, officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
Interment will be in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
Funeral arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Celtic Hospice, 601 Wyoming Ave, Kingston, PA 18704.
The family would like to thank Cheryl and Bob Crudele for their special care and concern for their mother during this difficult time.
