Obituary of Donna Lynn Bryant

Donna Lynn Bryant, age 66 of Harveys Lake, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 1, 2015 at home. Ms. Bryant was born in Kingston on July 19, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Joshua, Jr. and Margaretta Puterbaugh Bryant. Donna graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1966 and received her Bachelor's degree in social work from Misericordia University and later received her Master's Degree from Fordham University. She owned and operated Valley Counseling Associates in Kingston from 1996 to the present time. Donna resided at Harveys Lake for most of her life. She was a member of the Alderson United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school. Donna is survived by daughter, Lori Lynn Giunta and her husband Joseph of Harveys Lake; former husband, Edward Dubil of Harveys Lake; granddaughter, Amanda Donalyn; brothers, Bradley Bryant and his wife Diane of Dallas, Joshua Bryant III and his wife Patricia of Dallas, David Bryant and his wife Tina of Loyalville; maternal aunt, Eleanor Puterbaugh of Harveys Lake; her best friend and co-owner of Valley Counseling Associates, P.C., Karen A. Hartt. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with the Rev. W. William Kennard, retired, officiating. Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
