Obituary of Sharon E. Brower

Sharon E. Brower, age 63 of Noxen, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Mrs. Brower was born in Wilkes-Barre on July 20, 1950 and was the daughter of the late William and Ethel Kresge Engelman. Sharon graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1968. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Rosemary Rifenbery. Sharon is survived by her husband, Terry Brower of Dallas; daughters, Heather Adams and her husband Tom of Harveys Lake, Vanessa Cain of Spencer, IA, and Stefanie Spezzia and her husband Howard of Dallas; brothers, Dale Engelman of Millville and Barry Engelman of Kunkle; sisters, Judy Boone of Millville, Carol May of Sweet Valley and Sheila Hamersky of Millville; grandchildren, Cody, Terry Lee, Jasmine, and Violet. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 17, 2014 at 12 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Marty Everhart of St. Luke's Reformation Lutheran Church, Noxen, officiating. Friends may call from 10:30 AM to 12 PM prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Dr, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
