Obituary of Durland Harry Siglin

Durland Harry Siglin, age 62 of Noxen, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Wyalusing Rocks, Wyalusing.
Mr. Siglin was born in Noxen on July 17,1951 and was the son of the late William and Peggy Jean Patton Siglin.
Durland graduated from Tunkhannok in 1969 and was employed as a welder. He was a member of the Boiler Maker's Union, Local 13, for the last 35 years. Durland was president of the South Mountain Land Association for the last 25 years and also president of the Noxen-Monroe Sportsmans Association. He was a member of the Bowmans Creek Watershed Association. Durland loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Weaver; Son, Jim Weaver and his friend Joe Smith of Harveys Lake; daughter, Theresa Seward and her husband Mark of Noxen; brother, Lyle Siglin of Factoryville; sisters, Sharon Karp of Factoryville and Noreen Siglin of Laceyville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 8:00 pm from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
Interment will be in Orcutts Grove Cemetery, Noxen.
Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
