Obituary of William Earl Sesson

William "Bill" E. Sesson, age 52 of Tunkhannock, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Mr. Sesson was born in Kingston on September 4, 1961 and was the son of the late Michael Sesson, Sr. and Lois Sesson Pisack and her husband Joseph of Meshoppen.
Bill graduated from Tunkhannock High School in 1979 and received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University, State College. He received his state professional engineering license and was employed by Penn State University as an electrical engineer for the last 5 years. Bill enjoyed hunting elk out west with his brother Rich. He was an avid Penn State Football fan and was a member of the Wyoming County Traveling Dart League.
In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by fianc, Nancy Shaw and her mother Viola Shaw, both of Dallas; brothers, Michael P. Sesson, Jr. and his wife Frances of Lehman and Richard E. Sesson and his wife Mary of Montrose; step-brother, Carl Pisack and his wife Denise of Pittston; step-sister, Janice Timek and her husband Jerry of Duryea; nephew, Michael P. Sesson III of Lehman; niece, Claire E. Sesson of Lehman; pet sheltie, Suzie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 10:00 am from the St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church, 200 Stephenson St., Duryea, with the Rev. Carmen G. Bolock officiating.
Interment will be in the Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas.
Friends may call 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Wednesday at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made in William Sesson's name to the Penn State Wilkes-Barre General Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box PSU-Old Route 115, Lehman, PA 18627, Attention: Development Office.
