Obituary of Linda Rae Brown

Linda Rae Piatt Brown of Wilmington , North Carolina passed away on December 20th ,2024. Linda was born on April 28, 1947 and was raised at Pikes Creek. She was a 1965 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School. Following graduation she was a Rotary exchange student to Sweden. She then attended Wilkes-Barre Business School . She moved to Ohio where she lived for many years before retiring to Wilmington, North Carolina. She was legal secretary for many years and a real estate agent. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard L Piatt Sr , her mother, Dolores J Piatt, brothers, Howard L Piatt Jr, Bob W Piatt, and Thomas P Piatt. She is survived by her Son, Bradford L Brown and fiancé Lee , of Wilmington, NC and daughter, Melissa A Johnson and husband Michael of Mt Prospect, IL, Grandsons, Orion A Brown, Jacob W Brown , both of Wilmington, NC, Granddaughters, Annie Rae and Lea Frances Johnson, both of Mt Prospect, IL, Siblings , Alice Jean Martin, Lonnie Piatt , Virginia Ide, and Deborah Piatt all of Pennsylvania and Nancy Piatt of Salmon , Idaho. No memorial service is planned but the family would appreciate it if you would share your memories of Linda. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
