To Janie and Family,
We always called him Richie, he was a great great neighbor, fun to have around. We’ve watched him in the backyard tinkering around for over 30 years. We will miss him dearly. I think Richie had a pretty good life. Longtime wife and children that loved him the most. Scott and I will surely miss him.

Me again!
Rich was my favorite person I’ve ever got to care for. I felt like this man was sent to me by my grandfather, he was just like him. My grandfather was the most loving, hilarious, biggest smart ass, caring person in the world then, I met Rich & it almost felt like he was right there & I got to spend time with him all over again.. almost felt like a tiny piece of my heart was healed. When he moved out of ReminisCity I felt like there was a void all over again, he was so far away & I wasn’t there to check on him or care for him anymore. He was hard to handle for some but, for me I never saw anything wrong w him even on his worst days. Rich may have had Alzheimer’s & didn’t remember me much but, he never forgot how much I loved him & how I enjoyed spending time w him. Listened to Elvis to start the day & then, if we needed to calm down? We listened to it some more! I learned so much from him & he had no idea he was teaching me anything. Now, two of my favorite men now are laid to rest. I was so honored to love & care for him. I also, am so lucky I gained an extra family from his daughter. Now, I hope my two best friends get to meet.

A: His sense of humor was & always will stick with you. It was an acquired taste but, if you understood it.. you laughed like no tomorrow. & so caring, he’d give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it.

Richard would come in my office and make himself right at home. He would move the things off my chair, sit down and eat my peanuts. I looked forward to going to work every day just to see Richard.
