Allison was a classmate throughout grammar, junior and high school back in my hometown of Hopelawn, New Jersey which was a incredibly tight-knit community of approximately 2500. She was a lovely girl who excelled academically, a cheerful smile and beautiful eyes that were frequently obscured with big glasses which was the fashion of the day. I recall the angst asking Allison if she wished to dance at a teen social when I was around twelve. She took pity on this embarrassed young man and happily agreed. Her kindness continued into adulthood through our life-paths went in opposite directions I was overjoyed when I found her on Facebook just a couple years ago seemingly time stood still. There's always a few that make a indelible impression on your life at a early age Allison was that kind of person.

I had the privilege of knowing Alison through Fortis, we attended classes together for 2 years. Alison was a very kind and gentle person but most of all very compassionate and helpful. If I had a problem personal or at the school Alison was the first to help me, there was no question and she would not take no for answer. Alison was going to help and that was final! Alison talked only about her children and husband there was no doubt they were number one in her life! I spoke with Alison on facebook every now and then to keep up. God Bless her family, knowing Alison was a privilege, and had a wonderful sense of humor! God Bless stay strong, that is what Alison would have wanted! Heather Blakeslee
