Obituary of Faye Ann Mosier

Faye Mosier, age 89 of Hunlock Creek, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at home, surrounded by her children and family. She was born in Hanover Twp. on May 29, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Bruce and Myrtle Keiser. Faye attended Meyers High School and on January 3, 1953 she married her late husband, Russell, Sr. The two were blessed with six children, Russell, Jr., Debra, Linda, Bruce, David, and Brian. Their ever-growing family enjoyed outings to San Souci Amusement Park, Angela Park, Rocky Glen and Promised Land Lake, just to name a few. Faye and Russell, Sr., enjoyed countless trips to Canada, New York, North Carolina, and Florida where they spend time with family. Faye always felt her best when at their Bee Hollow family cabin in Lehighton. When staying close to home, her favorite place to be was at the Wyoming Valley Beagle Club. Faye loved her children and grandchildren, but nothing brought her more joy than watching the "antics" of her great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Mosier, Sr.; sisters, Mattie Williams, June Hontz and Fern Keiser. Faye is survived by her sons, Russell Mosier, Jr. (Frankie) of Pottstown, Bruce Mosier (Roseanne) of Hunlock Creek, David Mosier (Ann) of Trucksville and Brian Mosier at home; daughters, Debbie Maskalis (Joe) of Lehman and Linda Kline of Ceasetown; sister, Catherine Keiser; grandchildren, Megan, Russell, III, Bruce, Jr., Carol, Niko, Kristy, Joseph, Jr., Kari, Raymond and Jonelle; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 12:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with her granddaughter, Kari Maskalis, officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lake Twp.
