Remembering the Lambert Family Reunions in Hazlehurst, Georgia. Always an exciting time when aunts, uncles, cousins got together. About 12:00 the men would go to the tobacco barn get the wooden tables bring them to the yard. The women would start putting out the vegetables, fried chicken, ham etc. at the end of the tables were the cakes and , pies etc.
After the blessing was said thanking God for His many blessings, love of family and friends and food we enjoyed a great feast.
At the end of the day was a sad time when all those that traveled would leave going home, knowing it would be a long time before we would see each other again.
A great promise for Gods Children-we will meet again for the greatest reunion in Heaven!
