Obituary of Brian Richard Malkemes

Brian Richard Malkemes, age 36 of Philadelphia, formerly of Dallas, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Lankenau Medical Center, Wynnewood, PA. He was born in Wilkes-Barre on November 2, 1987 and was the son of Richard and Pamela Malkemes of Dallas. Brian attended Lake-Lehman High School. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Hillard Leo Malkemes; paternal grandmother, Matilda Malkemes Rossick and step grandfather, George Rossick. In addition to his parents, he is survived by sister, Megan Malkemes and fiancé Corey of Shavertown; maternal grandparents, William and Sara McGovern of Noxen; niece, Mylah; nephew, Connor. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
