Obituary of Robert Dwayne Elston

Robert "Bob" Elston, 74, of Shickshinny, passed away on December 23, 2023, in Wilkes Barre. He was born on June 16, 1949, in Wilkes Barre, to the late Harold Elston and Wilda Willauer. Bob is survived by his beloved girlfriend, Donna Coombs; two sons, Bryan (Angel) and Stephen Elston; two brothers, Dale Elston and Dave Elston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Paul Elston. Bob attended Dallas High School and furthered his education at Kings College. He dedicated over 30 years of his professional life to Fairway Motors, where he displayed unwavering commitment and integrity. Upon retirement, he traveled extensively from South Africa to the Grand Canyon to Ireland and more. A man of simple pleasures, Bob found solace in the great outdoors and had a fondness for the pursuit of hunting. A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Robert's Home, 96 Henrico Rd., Shickshinny, PA 18655.
