My condolences to the Laule family. I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Laule was always kind to me. Even when we were neighbors, back before Lee and Wayne got married, she was so good to me. I have many fond memories of her. Mrs. Laule took me to the Flower Show for the first time, igniting my love for plants and gardening. I remember when she lent me an awesome witch costume for a school play. It meant so much to me when she invited me to visit (whenever I wanted) when her dog, Susie, had puppies.
My favorite memory of Mrs. Laule is when we made my Mom & Dad gifts. I was maybe 10 years old. Mrs. Laule made beautiful ceramics and gave them as gifts. I remember one day just deciding to make Mom a coffee mug. So I marched up to the Laule’s house and told Mrs. Laule that I wanted to make my Mom a mug. She went out, bought 2 mugs (one for each parent) drew the designs in pencil, supplied TJ and I with glazes and brushes and helped us paint them. She then had them fired and gave them to us to give to our Mom & Dad. I had so much fun with her and never even considered all that she did to make those gifts happen. Those mugs were only one instance of the many kindnesses she did for me. She will always have a special place in my heart. She was well loved and will be fondly remembered, always.♥️
