Obituary of Joanne Pauline Lerch

Joanne Pauline Lerch, age 79 of Harveys Lake, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Lerch was born in Harveys Lake on February 6, 1934 and was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Hammond Lerch. Joanne graduated from the former Lake-Noxen High School in 1952 and retired from Mercy Center in Dallas. She resided in Harveys Lake for most of her life. After her retirement she enjoyed life to the fullest and especially loved reading, relaxing, and spending quality time with her great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce and brothers, Richard (Dick) and John. Mrs. Lerch is survived by sister: Nancy Concert of Ashley; brothers: Donald Lerch of Lake Station, Indiana and James Lerch of Wilkes-Barre; daughter: Linda; granddaughter: Colleen and her husband Michael of Harveys Lake; great grandchildren: Patrick, Benjamin, and Khloe; many nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 & 118, Pikes Creek.
