Obituary of Judith Heller

Judy Heller, age 65 of Hunlock Creek, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023 at home. She was born in Wilkes-Barre on February 26, 1958 and was the daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth Burns. Judy graduated from GAR High School, Wilkes-Barre. She was employed by Balester Optical Company in Wilkes-Barre and retired from the Lake-Lehman School District. Judy was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Heller; sister, Janice Burns. Judith is survived by daughters, Elizabeth Cummings and her husband Frank of Sweet Valley and Sarah Lanning and her husband Adam of Hunlock Creek; sons, James and his wife Leah and John, both of Sweet Valley; siblings, Carl Burns, Joan Dougalas, and Edward Burns; grandchildren, Jameson and Mason Cummings. At her request, there will be no funeral services or calling hours. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
