Obituary of Barbara Louise Kratz

Barbara L. Kratz, age 80 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Hampton House, Wilkes-Barre.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre on July 21, 1942 and was the son of the late Nicholas and Josephine Kratz.
Barbara graduated from Elmer L. Meyers High School and worked for over 40 years at the Acme Markets. She was a member of the former St. Boniface Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre. Barbara was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling, music, dancing, and doing puzzles and other brain games. She was a loving sister and aunt.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia Parry; and nieces, Prudence Parry, Nicole Bard, and Christinia Parry.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
