Obituary of Marian Elizabeth Lozier
Mary Ann Elizabeth Ladamus Lozier, age 85 of Dallas, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Kadima Rehab and Nursing at Lakeside, Harveys Lake.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre on April 3, 1937 and was the daughter of the late George and Anna Hardish Ladamus.
Mary Ann graduated from Lake-Noxen in 1955. She was employed as a waitress for various restaurants in the area and later worked in Florida at a day care center and numerous nursing homes. Mary Ann was a member of the Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake, Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas, and Calvary Baptist Church, Venice, FL. She loved music especially playing the piano and accordion. Mary Ann had the God given talent of playing music by ear. She also loved to cook good Polish food. Mary Ann was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and good friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, George Ladamus; granddaughter, Amy Lynn Lozier.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 67 years, Earl Lozier; daughter, Debra Katyl (David) of Dallas; sons, Earl J. Lozier (Lisa) of Jessup, MD and Michael Lozier of Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Dolores June Newell; brother, Edward Ladamus; grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel, Jesse, Jennifer, Jacob, Liam, Mary Kate, Cameron, Acelin; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 10:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Dwight Hodne of Grace Community Church, Dallas, officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the funeral home.
Future interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas
