Obituary of Wendy Sue Hagen

Wendy Sue Hagen, age 54 of Harveys Lake, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Shamokin on August 30, 1968 and was the daughter of James H. Martin of Sunbury and Jane Martin of Dallas. Wendy graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1986 and later attended the former McCain School of Business, Forty-Fort. She was currently employed by Pulverman, Inc., Dallas. Wendy enjoyed playing with her dog, Allie and doing yard work. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Tyler Scharff, at home; brother, James G. Martin of Shavertown; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 7:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor W. James Pall of the Maple Grove United Methodist Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
