Priscilla "Pat" A. Fraley, age 77 of Wilkes-Barre and formerly of Sweet Valley, gained her angel wings and finalized her journey home on Friday, March 3, 2023. She was born in Sweet Valley on September 13, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Burt and Edna Cragle Brink. She resided in the Sweet Valley area for most of her life until moving to the Wilkes-Barre area in 2007. Pat attended the Lake-Lehman School District until 10th grade. She worked very hard in her life starting with her longest job, driving school bus for the Lake-Lehman School District for at least 25 years. She was loved by all her kids. She also became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at the former Leader East Nursing Home, Kingston. Her greatest job of all was raising and guiding her 2 daughters in life, something that she was amazing at. Pat was a former member of the Sweet Valley Church of Christ and was involved as a Girl Scout Leader in Sweet Valley for many years. She was an avid card and Bingo player at the Washington Square Apartments where she resided until 2022. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She volunteered for several years at John Heinz Rehabilitation. In her younger years, she loved camping with her family and snowmobiling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Bruce A. Fraley; sisters, Ruth Blaine and Jean Brink; and brothers, Thomas and James Brink. She is survived by daughters who she said were her "greatest gifts in life", Lori Evans and her husband, Olin III of Ashley and Tammy Williams of West Memphis, Arkansas; grandchildren, Weston Morgan and his wife Amber of Shickshinny, Olin Evans IV of Bear Creek, Heather Bronc of West Memphis, Arkansas, and Laura Evans of Laurel Run; great-grandchildren, Olin Evans V, and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 10:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with her great nephew, Richard Blaine, officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM from the funeral home. Interment will be in Bloomingdale Cemetery, Ross Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family would like to extend many sincere and heartfelt thanks to the staff at Allied Meade Street Skilled Nursing Facility and Allied Hospice for all their kind, loving and compassionate care. You all touched her heart and gave her dignity and grace in her final journey. Our family is eternally grateful.
