Obituary of Joseph John Maslousky

Joseph John Maslousky, age 79 of Lake Twp., passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Wilkes-Barre on November 11, 1943 and was the son of the late Charles and Anna Barletta Maslousky.

Joseph served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was the owner/operator of Bella Mia Inn, Dallas for several years. Joseph also worked as a repairman in the Industrial HVAC industry for several years and was a mechanic with Quality Metals in Dallas. He was a handyman who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who asked. Joseph was a loving husband.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Sammy and Tony; sisters, Anne Marie and Betty.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, the former Dolores Kocher; brother, Chas of Las Vegas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Russel Moldovan of the Blanchard Church of Christ, Center County, officiating.

Visitations will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM and prior to the service on Friday from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.

Interment will be in Kocher Cemetery, Lake Township.
