Obituary of Phillip Thomas James

Phillip T. James, Jr., age 36 of Noxen, passed Monday, February 26, 2013 as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Stull Road, Noxen. Mr. James was born in Kingston on February 25, 1977 and was the son of Phillip T. James, Sr. with who he resided and Geri Lee Barrish Page of Kingston. Phillip graduated from West Side Vocational Technical School in 1995. He was employed as a press operator at Offset Paperback in Dallas for the last 15 years. He loved to hunt, fish, and catch rattlesnakes. Mr. James is survived by a stepmother: Leota Patton of Noxen; sister: Jennifer James of Lubbock, TX; stepbrothers: George Deiter and Tommy Patton, both of Noxen; stepsisters: Elizabeth Page of Kingston, Robin Weber of Noxen, and Michelle Slempa of Dallas; nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 8:00 PM at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Linda S. Bryan of the Noxen United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call from 6 - 8 PM prior to the service on Tuesday. Memorial contributions can be made to Clear Brook Manor, 1100 E. Northampton St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
