Obituary of John Thomas Braun

John "Tom" Braun, age 80 of Shickshinny Lake, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Hamilton, OH on September 17, 1941 and was the son of the late John Jacob and Virginia Hamburger Braun. Tom attended Tech School and Philadelphia Community College. He was employed by Yale and Town Tool and Die, and retired from Arrow Tool and Die. Tom enjoyed fishing, bowling, and working on hot rods. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Walter Buzzard. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bonnie Braun; daughters, Robyn Lawson, Melanie Leigh Gehring, Kami Karvell; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Buzzard; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; grandchildren, Marissa, Vanessa, Ashley, Thomas, Aidan, and Julianna; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
