Obituary of Robert Dec'ent

Robert "Bud" DeC'ent, age 81 of Lake Silkworth , passed away September 4, 2022 at the VA Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre He was born in Escanaba, MI on April 30, 1941 and was the son of the late Lester and Katherine Junion DeC'ent. Robert served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was employed at Anemex Copper, AZ as a driver for 24 years, and then retired from AI Equipment as a long haul truck driver. Robert then served out the rest of his working years with PENNDOT. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and camping. Robert was a loving father. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Darlene and Patricia. Robert is survived by his daughter, Danyelle Baines of Dallas; 1 brother; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
