Sylvia Katherine Trabucco, age 84 of Newark, NJ, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 23, 2022 at the Promedica Skilled Nursing and Rehab, Easton.
She was born in Newark, NJ on October 3, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Chester and Catherine Ferfero Mercogliano.
Sylvia graduated from Barringer High School, Newark, NJ, and was a member of her high school's alumni association. She was an avid bowler and swimmer and enjoyed doing ceramics and crocheting. Although divorced, she maintained a close friendship with her late husband, John A. Trabucco, Jr.. Most of all, she was a loving mother that enjoyed spending time with her family.
Sylvia is survived by her son, Alan S. Trabucco; daughters, Sylvia J. Trabucco and Debbie A. Bennett; and many beloved friends.
Funeral services will be private and there will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
