Obituary of Harold Lawrence Major

Harold Lawrence Major, age 67 of Dallas, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at home. Mr. Major was born in Kingston on December 27, 1945 and was the son of the late Harold and Irene Major. Harold was part of the Lake-Lehman High School graduating class of 1964 and was owner and operator of Harold's garage for many years. He loved his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and enjoyed hunting with his granddaughter Shelby. Harold was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all of his grandchildren, daughter, wife, and many friends. Mr. Major is survived by his wife of 45 years, the former Maureen Johnson; daughter: Tracey and her husband Ron of Chase; grandchildren: Shelby Major of Trucksville, Morgan and Sara of Chase; great grandson: Kameron Uronis of Trucksville. A memorial service will be held Sunday , February 9, 2013 at 5:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor David Pegarella of the Nanticoke Christian Fellowship, officiating. Friends may call from 3:00 - 5:00 PM prior to the service on Sunday. The family requests no flowers.
