Obituary of Carl Morgan Wall

Carl M. Wall, age 90 of Dallas, formerly of Beaumont, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas, with his family by his side. Mr. Wall was born in Monroe Township on January 17, 1927 and was the son of the late Harry and Florence Morgan Wall. Carl attended Beaumont High School and served in the US Army during World War II. He was most recently employed by Ace Robbins in Tunkhannock for 15 years. Carl resided at the Village at Greenbriar in Dallas for the last 5 years. He enjoyed hunting, playing cards and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, the former Ethel Boston, brothers, Russell and Donald and sisters, Alice Space, Dorothy Manning and Marion Sickler Carl is survived by sons, James M. Wall and his wife Joyce of Beaumont and Jerry C. Wall and his wife Carol of Dallas;; grandchildren, Kenneth Wall and his wife Meridith of Shavertown and Nicole Shaw and her husband Joshua of Leesburg, VA; 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Val Rommel of the Noxen United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Memorial Shrine Park, Franklin Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
