Obituary of Hannah Edith Frantz

Hannah Edith Frantz, age 83 of Dallas, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Mrs. Frantz was born in Loyalville on June 24, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Carrie Swire Hummell. Hannah graduated from the former Laketon High School in 1951 and was a member of the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, Harveys Lake. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Frantz, who passed away in 1985 and several brothers and sisters. Hannah is survived by her sons, Glenn and his wife Alice and Doug and his wife Wendy, both of Harveys Lake; daughter, Laura Oursler and her fiancé Kevin of Nanticoke; brothers, Earl Hummell of Noxen and Frank Hummell of Lake Twp.; sister, Lorna Jones of Harding; 4 grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service that will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Lake Township, with Rev. L.D. Reed of the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, Harveys Lake, officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
